ServiCasa is a marketplace that connects homeowners in Colombia with verified local technicians for painting, cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, drywall, and more. Think of it as the easiest way to find a trustworthy professional in your city.

Which cities does ServiCasa cover?+

We currently operate in Bogota, Medellin, Cali, and Barranquilla. We are expanding to more Colombian cities every month. Not in your city yet? Sign up and we will notify you when we launch there.

Is ServiCasa free to use?+

Yes! Posting a job and receiving quotes is completely free for homeowners. ServiCasa charges a small 10% service fee on completed bookings, which is included in the price you see before you pay.

How are technicians verified?+

Every technician goes through our 4-step verification: government ID check, phone number confirmation, skills assessment, and reference check. Verified technicians display a blue checkmark on their profile.

What services are available?+

Painting (interior and exterior), deep cleaning, plumbing, carpentry and custom furniture, electrical installations and repairs, drywall installation and finishing, and general home maintenance. More services are being added regularly.

How do I post a job?+

Tap the gold button on the home screen. Choose your service, describe the work, enter your neighborhood and preferred date, and submit. You will start receiving quotes within a few hours.

How many quotes will I receive?+

You can receive up to 5 quotes from different verified technicians for each job. You are never obligated to accept any of them.

Can I see a technician's past work?+

Yes. Each technician profile includes before and after photos of real completed jobs, star ratings, and written reviews from previous clients. You can also chat with the technician before hiring.

What if I am not happy with the work?+

Open a dispute from your Job Tracker screen. Our team reviews the case within 24 hours. If the work is not up to standard, you can request a redo or a full refund depending on the situation.

Can I cancel a booking?+

Yes. Cancel for free up to 24 hours before the scheduled service. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a small fee depending on the technician. Check the cancellation policy on the booking screen.

How do I join as a technician?+

Tap "Join as technician" from the home screen or sign up page. Complete your profile, upload your ID and a photo, and select the services you offer. Our team verifies your account within 48 hours.

How does ServiCasa make money from technicians?+

ServiCasa takes a 10% commission from each completed job. There are no monthly fees or signup costs. You only pay when you earn.

How and when do I get paid?+

Payment is released to your account within 24 hours after the client confirms the job is complete. You can withdraw to your bank account, Nequi, or Daviplata at any time.

Can I set my own rates?+

Yes. You set your hourly rate and can adjust it at any time from your profile settings. We show market rate benchmarks to help you price competitively.

What if a client disputes my work?+

You will be notified and asked to provide your side of the case with photos and notes. Our team mediates fairly. Technicians with strong ratings and clear photo documentation almost always win legitimate disputes.

What payment methods are accepted?+

We accept Mercado Pago (credit and debit cards), PSE bank transfers, Nequi, Daviplata, and cash payments via Efecty. All digital payments are processed securely through Mercado Pago.

Is my payment information safe?+

Yes. ServiCasa never stores your card details. All payments are encrypted and processed through Mercado Pago, which is PCI DSS compliant and used by millions of people across Latin America.

When is my payment charged?+

Your payment is authorized at the time of booking but only captured once the technician confirms the appointment. If no technician is assigned, you are never charged.

Can I get a refund?+

Full refunds are issued if: the job is cancelled more than 24 hours before the service date, no technician is assigned, or a dispute is resolved in your favor. Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days.

What is the ServiCasa service fee?+

We charge a 10% service fee on the total job amount. This fee covers payment protection, customer support, insurance guarantee, and platform maintenance. The fee is always shown clearly before you confirm payment.
